Our magnificent, hand-picked gemstones are exclusively set in high quality precious metals; primarily 14 Kt gold or 18 Kt gold or occasionally in platinum or sterling silver. This is true for all three of our 100 East Fine Jewelry brands (One Hundred East, Sas E Gems and Gordon’s Curated Selection). On rare occasions, we may offer Gordon’s Curated Selection jewelry items in vermeil, a thick coating or plating of gold or gold alloys applied to a setting formed of sterling silver. We use 100% recycled gold and other precious metals so our jewelry does not contribute to the demand for mined gold. Recycled precious metals are identical in content to non-recycled material.
Since every piece of our jewelry contains gemstones, the final step in the process of creating jewelry pieces that are not only pleasing to the eye but also durable, is top-quality stone setting.
