This delicate and classic, yet modern diamond ring can be worn as either a cocktail ring or a non-traditional engagement ring. The GIA-graded, cushion shaped, natural, untreated, fancy intense yellow color and VS1 clarity rating make this almost ¾ carat (0.73 carats to be exact) diamond quite rare. It cannot be missed as it sits atop a yellow 18 kt gold crown for all to see. The yellow center diamond is encircled by two 18 kt white gold halos filled with near colorless diamonds which are built upon a floral design undercarriage. The split shoulders on both sides of the 18 kt white gold band are further embellished with 28 round brilliant cut diamonds. This alluring ring will be treasured for years.
GORDON'S DESIGN NOTES: "I was attending the AGTA Gem Show in Tucson when a fellow GIA Gemologist whose opinion I trust informed me about a potential new supplier I should check out. I met with the supplier and he was offering a small number of beautiful yellow diamond rings for sale. My initial inspection indicated the gemstones were quite good and the rings were well constructed. I decided to buy one of his rings but also to challenge my initial assessment of the gemstones. I sent the ring to GIA for evaluation. Their rating of the center stone indicated it was indeed natural and untreated and its combination of size, color and clarity made it quite rare. While not as rare, the near colorless accent diamonds were verified as natural and untreated. This is a supplier I will certainly visit again.
