"I was looking through some old photos my wife and I took during one of our many trips to Germany when I came across a picture of a German estate with a similar design incorporated into its gates. Unfortunately, we didn’t record and couldn’t recall where the picture was taken. I thought this design would make an engaging design for a ring and possibly a pendant. I already had the perfect sapphire to fill the center, making a ring the most logical design choice."
