  • GEMSTONE AND VERMEIL (STERLING SILVER & 22 KT YELLOW GOLD) CUFF BRACELET

Gemstone and Vermeil (Sterling Silver & 22 kt Yellow Gold) Cuff Bracelet

$460.00

Product Description

The playful design of this bracelet embraces flowers blooming in the cool, hidden recesses of mountain meadows as daylight wanes and the purple twilight of dusk yields to night. Leafy vines unfurl in a spiral of sterling silver and 22 kt yellow gold. Moonlight entices your eyes as it reflects off the dark rose carved into the iridescence of the black mother of pearl and it shimmers off the flowers of amethyst, garnet, peridot, prehnite, topaz and quartz nestled among the delicate, shiny leaves. Purchase this exquisite vermeil bracelet with confidence that it will fit after reading our blog post about measuring your wrist and determining ideal bracelet length!

Gordon’s Design Notes: I wanted to gain experience with consumer response to sterling silver jewelry, but was reluctant to create my own line right now. I decided, instead, to start by offering a few products from an existing company. It had to be the right product and company, though. After some research, I learned about Michou, who specializes in ‘art to wear’ for every occasion. Her vermeil jewelry is sterling silver with 22 kt yellow gold accents and contains gemstones. Her exceptional contemporary designs fit perfectly with my vision for sterling silver and gemstone jewelry.

  • 1 pc; peridot; medium yellowish green; natural gemstone untreated

SPECIAL NOTE: The mystic fire quartz gemstone gets its color and iridescent effect through a process known as surface coating. In this treatment, a coating material is vaporized and introduced to the gemstone in a vacuum environment where a thin layer adheres, creating amazing colors and effects. Surface modification is not considered permanent. The surface coating can be scratched, damaged or worn away over time. Special care is required to reduce and slow the wearing-away of the coating.

Total carat weight (TCW) of colored stones: 1.8 cts excluding the black mother of pearl rose

Other Details

Care::
Protect your jewelry from impact against hard surfaces and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces. All gemstones, including diamonds, can chip, scratch, or abrade under the right circumstances.
Specifics::
The mystic fire quartz gemstone requires special care because the surface coating is not permanent and is particularly susceptible to scratching and wear. Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaning and chemical jewelry cleaners.
Cleaning::
The best method for cleaning all your jewelry is to soak each item in a mixture of lukewarm water and gentle dish washing liquid followed by a very light cleaning with a soft child’s toothbrush.
Cleaning Instructions (cont’d)::
To remove tarnish from sterling silver, use a gentle liquid cleaner that is safe for pearls. We will recommend a specific product upon purchase.
