Richly-hued deep blue marquise cut sapphire gemstones the color of the Atlantic Ocean are strikingly displayed against 18kt white gold in these stunning earrings.  The radiant color of the sapphires is further enhanced by multitudes of sparkling diamonds, lovely scrollwork and milgrain design.  This beautiful vintage-inspired design is sure to be enjoyed for many generations to come!

GORDON'S DESIGN NOTES: "Inspired by the upside-down shape of the center leaf of a fleur-de-lis, I decided to look for a pair of marquise-cut gemstones when attending the AGTA Gem Show in Tucson, Az. a few years ago. I ended up finding five matched pairs of gemstones in different colors, sizes and shapes. I liked them all so much, I decided to buy them all. Between the gemstone and metal color differences, I ended up with five pairs of one-of-a-kind earrings, each uniquely beautiful in its own way."

With wear, rhodium plating can thin to the point where a yellowish tinge may show through. Periodic re-coating with rhodium will revive the original bright white color. Re-plating does not damage the gemstones.

Cleaning:
The best method for cleaning all your jewelry is to soak each item in a mixture of lukewarm water and gentle dish washing liquid followed by a very light cleaning with a soft child’s toothbrush.
