This intricate pair of yellow gold filigree earrings is embellished with eight Montana-mined deep pink sapphires. The placement of the pink sapphires against the delicate yellow gold background makes for a bewitching combination.  Additionally, each earring features a brilliant white center diamond for added sparkle. These spectacular drop earrings are also available in additional color choice combinations (both sapphire and gold tone).

GORDON'S DESIGN NOTES: "I wanted to create a set of intricately feminine earrings. Once the basic design was set, I decided to make different combinations of colored gemstone and metal colors so each pair would remain unique. I chose ethically sourced, fancy colored Montana-mined sapphires for their spectacular range of colors. I purchased the sapphires from a gemologist/gem dealer who, along with the designer, donated the Chonchita Montana Sapphire Butterfly to the Smithsonian Institute."

Care:
As with all pierced earrings, keep the earring findings clean and free of dirt and oil build-up. Wash your hands before putting on or removing pierced earrings to minimize the potential for infection.
Care Continued:
When dressing, fine jewelry should always be the last item put on and the first item taken off to minimize the gemstones coming into contact with perfume, lotions, hair products, etc.
Care Continued:
Protect your jewelry from impact against hard surfaces and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces. All gemstones, including diamonds, can chip, scratch, or abrade under the right circumstances.
Care Specifics:
To minimize the potential for earring loss, regularly inspect the closure findings for damage and wear. If in doubt, ask a jewelry professional to inspect the earrings.
Cleaning:
The best method for cleaning all your jewelry is to soak each item in a mixture of lukewarm water and gentle dish washing liquid followed by a very light cleaning with a soft child’s toothbrush.
Cleaning Continued:
Place the item(s) in a fine mesh strainer and rinse to remove the soap. Gently place each item on a lintfree cloth and softly pat them dry. See the Care and Cleaning Section of the Website for a more detailed explanation.
